The GDPR and everything you need to know to ensure compliance
So, we are now just one week away from our next London Networking event on the 18th July and we have Bernard Crouch of Acumen FM coming along to outline everything you need to know about the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that will come into force on the 25th May 2018 and how to ensure compliance in 11 months time.
Employers and Marketeers need to be aware of their duties under this new regulation.

If you missed our previous meeting back in May. Matthew Battle, Managing Director at UK Property Forums spoke to us about how conferencing could be the best thing you ever do for your business.
Some highlights from the presentation include:
The presentation aimed to highlight the reasons why attending a conference could be the most important thing you do this year – a bold statement I agree but over the past 13 years I have been organising conferences I have seen some important trends.
It’s Good to Talk – meeting people is pretty cool especially in this age of digital screens and digital relationships. conferences allow people to network and great sustainable relationships.
Senior Decisions Makers Playground – all of our conferences are attended by senior team members equates to 65% are CEO, MD, Director, Partner or Head of Department level which means that the opportunity to meet decision makers is real.
Generating Content is King – in this age of fake news and the need to reduce everything to 160 Twitter characters, means that we do not always have time to understand the issues. Attending a conference allows delegates to hear quality content and understand the issues.
We like to be Entertained – a lot of time we are stuck behind a screen or in controlled environments. Conferences should be entertaining and above all, fun – all of our conferences aim to be interactive and engaging allowing delegates time to think out loud. Finally,
It’s all in the making of the Coffee – increasingly we work in a gig economy with WeWork aspirations, attending conference allows delegates to get involved in an environment which is engaging and productive.
